document or release notes. There are a couple ways to do this, but I like the
straight forward to run this task on the terminal.
How to
perform ScreenOS Upgrade on Netscreen-10
The purpose of this document is to provide some basic steps to upgrade
NetScreen-10. To upgrade the NetScreen via Boot/Diag mode, the ScreenOS image to
be upgraded to must be stored on a TFTP server. The NetScreen should also have a
direct Ethernet connection with that TFTP server via TRUSTED Interface
How to
recover Password on Netscreen-10
Resetting the password on Netscreen-10 requires ScreenOS 2.61 and above. If your
Netscreen runs 2.60, you will have to send the unit to Netscreen (or better
said, Juniper). Netscreen is now part of Juniper. I've bought myself a Netscreen
via eBay and figured out, that ScreenOS 2.6.0r1.1 runs on the box, and of
course, no password was available.
